  2. Looks somewhat familiar but I don't know if that's really me in the photo. I'm struggling to recognise anyone though that may be JL next to the tall girl. I certainly don't recall a trip with this group. Help, people!!

  3. There seems to be an awfully large number of girls. Most of my trips in those days were devoid of feminine company. I couldn't have been that lucky!

  4. Hi...KC
I am afraid you cannot get out of this, it WAS you in the pic. Immediately in front of you was Wei Hua (Lily Ng's brother, Class 77) and next to you was Koon Teck. These girls were from St Bernadettes. I will let you try to remember the rest.

  6. KC is standing way back so it looks like the girl is taller as she is standing in front.
Standing side by side will tell a different picture.
Anyway JL should know better as the pix comes from him.

  7. What in the world was I doing with a group of girls from St Bernadettes? Really mystifying.
I played basketball with Wei Hua and he was also good in field events. Then there's Koon Teck and JL who were also sportsmen. So this must be some sports outing - but why with St B's? And who organised it?

  8. That girl is actually tallish for asian women but she was wearing high heeled shoes at the time (don't ask, I just know...lol). Your guess is right KC, it was an outing with the sports girls from SBS. To be honest I have forgotten who organised it. I think that year, SBS was top in the medals achievement for the girls inter-school sports in KCH and as usual, the boys schools went to SJS.

  9. KC, I know what the picture says: You are the captain of the boys basketball team and the girls are cheerleaders. They have dressed properly after the game........so where is the photo of the cheerleaders in action, anyone has it?

  10. Such great insight, KCK! Must be one helluva lucky basketball team to have its own cheer squad, including one really tall girl. I'd like to see a picture of them in action too.
John, I don't think anyone is going to win the contest, so tell us all you know.

  11. Last night I had a dream that ...

    * The tall lass grew up and became a female NBA basketball player winning 21 championships at last count

    * The tall boy grew up & became an accountant able to count up to 21

    LOL !!!

  12. The think the trip was organised by the SBS girls and some of the boys from SJS atheletes decided to join and those were: Koon Teck, Sim Yaw Seng, Peng Siew, Mo Said, Zaman, KC, Wei Hua, Ng Ah Lek (myself included but I was only there to make up to numbers!!!) plus a few more whom I cannot remember their names. I think the trip was to Bau (where else do we go in those days??!! besides Matang, Serian, Bako, Santubong).
