If you regarded yourself as A Simple Man or even A Cowboy Afraid of Horses ... If you still Don't Know How to Tell Her About some another person (possibly Stoney) .... If you were perpetually on the lookout for a place called Lodi or a mutt named Boo ... then you probably grew up in the 70s and 80s with the music of American singer-songwriter Lobo (a.k.a. Roland Kent Lavoie).
And if you felt It Sure Took A Long, Long Time for him to come back in concert, well ... your wait is over ... Here's your chance to catch him in a live concert one more time on his "Lobo Asia Tour" ...
15 Oct 2010, 8:30pm, Arena of the Stars, Genting Highlands
Lobo was last at this same venue in 2006, where he played to an overwhelming audience.

ReplyDeletewhere is Lobo from originally? His same sound French or somewhere in Europe.
ReplyDeleteSure, let's all go and attend the concert on the 16th, Sept in Singapore. WJ will be the tour guide.
ReplyDeleteit's 16th OCTOBER, NL ...
ReplyDeleteWhy only one day each? He got more fans than that, surely?
ReplyDeleteI still love these songs - who ever sang it, it was still good to listen to but of course better from LOBO. It does brings back such good memories and most funny thing about it was during those periods where most of us were in our teens and at some point, infatuated with the opposite sex!!!!. You know those gals that we fancy in the distance, our crazy minds sending mixed and confused messages. Good times.....LOL
ReplyDeleteI believe he recently changed his name to "LAU-Boh" - to reflect his age. LOL !
ReplyDeleteOn a more serious note, there's NOT one Lobo song that doesn't sound good to the ears....in fact I have listened to almost all, if not all his songs...and they were all great !
If asked to pick just 5...I'll go for "How can I tell her ?" "Me & You & A Dog Named Boo"..."There Ain't No Way"..."Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow ?"...and "Standing at the end of the Line."
Cheers & Great Posting, WJ !
