Funny thing. i just watched "Evan Almighty" on TV yesterday. With all the rains in Sarawak, i was thinking maybe an ARK is called for soon ... :-) who's gonna be Noah?
ReplyDeleteThat's LAU YA KENG - my favourite breakfast spot !!!
ReplyDeleteLAU YA KENG @ Carpenter Street.
ReplyDeleteGood food there but hate the place bcos : 1. parking problems 2. hot and sweaty during the dry periods 3. wet and slippery during the monsoon season.
Luckily, no more beggars there esp. a big sized female who would not leave your table side with her hands outstretched till you give her the ringgit she asks for.
Speaking of beggars, maybe you can start a beggar in kuching post here. hahaha.
Aiyaaa ... carparking problem, hot, wet, beggars - all part of the unique charm of Lau Ya Keng lah. Have to take the good with the not so good ...
ReplyDeletei haven't been back Kuching for 10 years. I miss the Kuey Chap at Lauyakeng. Sob sob sob!
