Jimmy Kho & James Yong catch-up in Singapore

Former Form 5 Sc (1976) classmates Jimmy Kho Khoon Haw and James Yong met up for lunch in Singapore today. This was their first meeting after about 33 years, and miraculously could still recognise each other. Both were a little more mature, a little more experienced but obviously a little of their boyish good looks still remain :-)

Jimmy Kho was passing through Singapore on his way back to Shanghai where he is currently based. He has had a successful career in the food & beverage industry and has been based in China, Cambodia, Vietnam and other locations in Asia for the past decade.

Both friends had a nice long lunch and a good chat about family, friends, career, travel and adventures in various Asian countries.

Anyone interested in getting in touch with either of them should check out their emails in the "Who were in Form 5 Science?" post.

  3. I met Anthony Chung at Heritage restaurant last night. Asked him if he knew about this website and he said he'd been told. He hasn't aged much since Form 5. Wonder what he's eating??

Btw, who is the GL who posted the first comment? Trying to recall who shares the same initials with me.

    G Lo.

  4. Not sure who the other GL is either, George. I thought it was you. My tracking software only shows that entry came from someone using an Internet service provider in Sarawak.

  8. Thanks, Sinos. Now, puzzle for the day, who else in Form 5 had the initial GL? or is it some visitor who's keeping tabs on the guys of '76? I enjoy re-visiting and reading the new added comments. George Lo.

  9. This message is for George Lo. I do apologise if it seems to be an intrusion of some sort but you guys will be pleased to know that "google" searches prove successful and interesting. Anyway, George, I am looking to contact your sister Grace Lo. Understand she moved to America many years ago. I used to school with her briefly at St Teresa's, and my name is Beatrice Hawkins. I will check back on this blog to see if you are in a position to respond. Have tried looking for an email contact for you but got nowhere with that one. By the way, (to James Yong I think) -- love your photographs posted here of Kuching. Beautiful memories.

  10. Beatrice - no intrusion. This is meant to be a "reconnection" blog, so reconnect all you want. Also glad you like the photos.
