At this reunion were KC & Pearl, Chris, Ping & son Alvin and Philip & Christina, among many other guests of KC.
Looking good, guys !
More photos from PT
Some not very clear (probably taken with a camera phone?)

Wah, great reunion. So who's based in Perth?
ReplyDeleteAiyoo Mr Kopi, it's KC's house in Perth they were in. CKSG normally base in Port Dickson, but where did PT travel from?
ReplyDeleteNice photo ! Did you take a photo with the Gan family CKSG?
ReplyDeletePhilip looks like he's in his mid 30s at most ! The shaven head certainly makes one look much younger. Anyone else care to try? Maybe organise a Shave-Head-for-Charity event sometime. Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteCan count on you Mark to collect the proceeds!, just as you did years ago when JJ run the field??
ReplyDeleteShould do it on the 23th!! PC will be the first one to go for it and second will be you right?
John,
Did Philip T go for the Mr Novice with you?
If you didn't know these 3 guys, by just looking at this photo, what would you guess their professions were? hehehe
ReplyDeleteLeft to Right: Dentist, Professor and Martial Arts Master
ReplyDeleteL to R : Creative Accountant, Environmentalist Oil Man & Shaolin Monk ... LOL
ReplyDeleteL to R: Black hair, Grey hair, No hair ... LOL
ReplyDeleteHi...KC/CS/PT
ReplyDeleteNice to see you guys make an effort to get together no matter where you are. From the photo, you all certainly looking very well, healthy and in your prime, esp. PT.
Hey, LK - just as well PT did not enter the Mr Novice, he would have wipe the floor!!!!..LOL
PT - as you are now connected and contributed to the blogs, please enlighten us on where you have been all these years, what you have been up to and what you are doing now. Setting up a shaolin school?...LOL
The best wishes to all.
John aka Mr Novice 19...,
ReplyDeleteWhat are the odd if the title is Mr Half a Century...looks aside?
Emily asks whose son, referring to PT! Look at his posture..chest out..hoh mummy..so obedient hoh that boy!
Maybe the moutain air in Blue Mountains and hiking all help...
Kevin and I (PT) are almost neighbours for nearly 20 years (without knowing). I recognised Kevin instantly - he has not changed a bit. Chris is just as youthful, albeit with a bit of grey. It was really a happy day to see them again. I am working as an engineer in Perth - something to do with BIG mining trucks and dozers. :-)
ReplyDeletePT,
ReplyDeleteYou won't happen to know my brother Theng Ming? He also used to work with a Big mining firm...memory escape me ...can't remember the name. The Ozzie Company reclaim land for the HongKong airport.
Few Old Teresians are in Perth..ask CKSG..
Hiya you all, CKSG or CSKG? Was wondering who's CKSG. Oh well, KC still looks the same years ago, didn't change much. CSKG will look like when he's in form 5 if not for the grey. PT, he got hair or not when in form 5?
ReplyDeleteCSKG = Christopher Sim Kay Guan
ReplyDeleteCKSG=Christopher Kay Sim Guan ha? Same person ka?
ReplyDeleteI think if I really go 'botak' my wife would tell me to sleep on the sofa, so I better keep the few remaining hair on my head just for her.
ReplyDeleteThanks to Kevin who made this memorable meeting possible. Also appreciate the delicious dishes that Pearl cooked up. As acknowledged by Kevin himself, she is a good cook. Would not forget this micro reunion that we had after not meeting for more than 30 yrs.
ReplyDeleteIt was great to meet up with PT and CSKG after all these years. Apart from the lack of hair, PT looks pretty much the same and he's extremely fit (4 times a week at the gym). CSKG also looks no different than when he was in Form 5/6 other than having a more distinguished bearing now with his greying locks (the anon who said he looks like a professor is not far wrong). It was also good to meet their lovely wives and CSKG's 11 year-old son, Alvin (who's very savvy with electronic gear).
ReplyDeleteWe initially met in the city but being a Sunday afternoon in Perth, we got chased out of a number of drinking joints as they were closing. Ended up at my place where we continued to catch up on old times.
PT has been in Perth for 32 years after coming over for Year 12 and then going to the University of Western Australia to do Engineering. He came to Perth with Edmond Tan Choe Jueh who subsequently settled in Singapore, as we all know. Me, I'm a latecomer to Perth compared to PT having been here for only 21 years!!
I can't quite recall "Theng Ming". Memory is a bit faded, my apologies, Lee Kien. I used to have a thick head of hair but genetics held the upper hand in the matter, LMS. I have seen photos of John ala "Mr Novice" and I think he could easily wipe the floor with me. :-( PT
ReplyDeleteWow, PT is a true blue Aussie already!
ReplyDeleteWow PT ! 3 times a week in the gym! I am lucky if got 1 time in 3 weeks!
ReplyDeleteWa lau ler, 3 times a wk in the gym ha, don't think I can do that anymore lo. Nowadays I only take 'walks' here and there, cycle a little, thats it. Well, keep it up PT my man!
