Hari Raya at Dato' AM's House

.
On 10th September 2010, a few of the boys visited Dato' AM on his Open House on the first day of Hari Raya.

PC reports:

"As usual, AM and his family were so warm and welcoming. The home-made laksa and yummy rendangs + lemang made us feel very much at home. Being the perfect host, the harried AM was already sweating by the tim we got to his place at 11.30am. Dozens of well wishers were already milling around while others were busy eating at secluded nooks around the house."

Here are a couple of photos ...

  3. Compared to when RLNH visted, HG looks less grumpy, Lawrence less surprised, Pip more happy.
Overall everyone seems happier though Brendan (absent earlier) seems a ltiile grumpy. Must be the wonderful food AM served.

  4. Jealous la we didn't get to visit AM and the wonderful and tasty food. Nobody visited JJ meh?

You all notice AM ceiling/roof in photo no.1? They are the same as St.Joe roof/ceiling outside the classroom, photo no. 5 & 6, giving back to St.Joe.

Think AM wants to remind himself of his former classroom.

  7. I just missed AM's open house by about 8 hrs! Too bad. Of course, coming in after 8pm and having the buddies out for Starbucks on short notice is bound to make them surprised & grumpy! I promise to give more notice next time - not that I am likely to do another mad dash to Thailand so soon...

  8. A few of the KL gang were overseas while the rest were back in good ol' Kuching. Poor Subra was on police duty while CM was tied up that morning. Hence the low turnout.
