Motorbike Mavericks (continued)

Last week we spoke about the motorcycle enthusiasts among our classmates back in the 70s.

We've since learnt that such passions never really go away. In fact, the toys just get bigger, sexier and more powerful.

Here's our friend Sinos with his red Honda Hornet 900cc machine. I'm sure he has enjoyed great road adventures speeding around Cambodia ...

.
Looking real fierce, my friend !
.
I will add on to this posting when some of our other friends share their motorbike pictures. Stay tuned ...

  5. Hi Leo,

Unfortunately can't find red jacket to match my bike. I have to go to KL or Bangkok to buy my riding gears. You can't find them here. The locals are not keen on big bikes. They prefer small Honda dreams...easy to use, buy & sell.

Bike thieves can't be bothered with our types of bike too. The black Hornet belongs to my Filipino Security & Safety Mgr where I work, So far in Siem Reap, there are only 2 of us with these big bikes.

Robert, no we are not Hell Angels but Apsara Angles...just like the Apsara dancers that you saw during our dinner & show in Siem Reap, remember?

WJ, no lah, no stunts like that of Evel Knievel. Too old for that and dare not too...Takut lah boss. But we do rev it up when we go long distance and the roads are clear of cows, dogs, buffalo & humans..

Cheers & happy riding, man !!

Since I bought the bike, it carried only once a female pillion rider...and that was my bini..and that also for a short spin. She was and is still scared.

If all OK, I might be in KL for the M'sian moto GP this coming Oct. Hope to catch up with you & those in KL..another mini reunion, boleh sik?
