SJS School Choir (1977)

Another photographic contribution from KC which apparently shows the SJS School Choir of 1977. Seems that we had a whole bunch of songbirds in the cohort.

The photo was taken in "enemy territory"(just kidding!) at St Thomas' premises where the Inter-School Choir Competition had just been held. KC, can you provide more details please ?


Sorry this old picture is a little blurry. This is the best I could do ... even with 21st century computer enhancement. Still, I've provided some close-up shots, so think you should be able to make out who are the guys and gals.

    i see guys from class of '78 and even '79.
    and wondering who the little fella 'front row 3rd left' is and year.

    I submitted the photo as we were talking in another thread about some classes being dominated by girls. This photo shows the relatively large number of girls wearing the St Joe badge and representing the school in an inter-school competition. As I recalled it, we didn't do that well and were placed third.

    Other than the usual suspects, I don't remember the names of most of the people in the photo, including the little guy in the front row.

    I can confidently name Pierce Chow (Dr) - front row leftmost (class of 78) and Ling Chai Seng front row right most (class of 79).
    Of course 4hairs and panjang himself back row.
