Zooming in on St Teresa's School

This entry focuses on that school across the road, the one that has held the fascination of many a St Joe boy then and now.

First, we have the view from across the road ...

Then, using St Joe's ultra-powerful telescope, we zoom in further ...

And we zoom in further still ....

And even further ...
and finally bringing the image into clear focus, we see ...

Wow, I knew those Physics lessons on lenses & magnification would come in useful some day ;-)

I'll leave you to identify the beauties ...

To All the Girls We've Loved Before - Part #1

It's strange but quite nice that I've recently received a number of class photos from STS and other schools ... from classes from years around 1976. Separately I've also received an overwhelming number of requests from the guys to post up more ladies photos from the 70s.

So I've been mulling over what theme (or excuse!) to post up these pictures. Hope you agree that the title of the posting says it all. Hubbies and partners, don't be irate, as "loved" simply refers to "admired" (often from a distance too, sadly). This will be the beginning of a new series, so long as I continue to receive such photos, and not get a legal restraining order (in the case of the latter situation, I'm sure I can consult my good lawyer GL for the next course of action :-)

So here's the first one ... I believe it is STS Form 5 (1977), although I need someone to confirm which exactly class it is (Science, Arts etc).

Apologies for the damaged parts of the photo ... that was how I received it. Obviously the sweetness of the ladies has attracted the white ants too. So at least three faces are somewhat unrecognizable.

If there are any ladies from this class, or who know the folks in the class, we'd be delighted to have your comments & your active participation in this blog.

Through the Looking Glass (continued)

Someone in the post on "Through the Looking Glass" mentioned the Julio Iglesias song "To All the Girls I've Loved Before".

So I'm trying to embed a videoclip in this post. Never done it before, so hope it works.

Through the Looking Glass (or at least Across the Bridge)

In response to occasional questions like "do you know what happpened to that pretty lass named ........ ?" and suggestions that this website may be missing the other half of the Form 5 (1976) story, I've created this post precisely to extend our conversation in this direction.

Feel free to ask your questions and share your knowledge. Perhaps through your comments here, we could find out more about some of our fair "sisters" from St Teresa's (or St Bernadette's or St Mary's or other girl schools further afield ....) . Only rule boys - please keep it gentlemanly :-)

Maybe someone could even pass the word to some of our lady friends from the 70's about the existence of this website, and some might drop us a line :-)
