Ben's Adventures in China

As some of you know, our buddy Ben Wong is proposing a trip to various parts of China. And Ben does know China pretty well as he has been there some 7 or 8 times. Here are some photos that reflect adventures that he and his family took in the Middle Kingdom.

Ben, I'll need you to give a commentary of what's where ....

  8. Thanks John,Actually most of the time i buy Airasia direct flight cheap tickets to Macau from Kuching.Macau is the gateway to southern China and HK and the transport system there is very2 efficient and cheap compare to KL.You can also take the casino buses from Macau airport to the casino and trasfer to another bus to get to China border,Zhuhai for free.I usually travel on my own and lead my group,i never join tour from Kch.to China / HK or most places that i have travelled.Just do a bit of research in the internet and here i go even with just my wife and my son who is 13 yrs old.I can travel in most cities in China now eventhough i hvnt been to.My first trip to Guilin i lead the group of 13 people as you can see in the group photo minus my son who was the photographer.
BTW we are going next month with some of the boys to Macau,Zhuhai Shenzhen,HK,Dongguan and Guangzhou for 7days trip.Briefly will visit the spring Guangzhou fair from 17-23 April 2010.Anyone wants to join just buy your tickets to Macau the same day and we will meet at the airport regardless your arrival time from any destination ...no joke, iwill be there to meet you guys.

  19. how much luggage can we bring, Ben?

    ReplyDelete
  20. For luggage bring along a cabin sized trolley bag and a small backpack.
Travel light, bring along disposable underwear, hand sanitiser, wet wipe, 3in1 coffee or Milo ,China coffee is no good unless you want to go for Starbucks....

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hi John, thanks, sure I'll bring my razor along too, we'll wait and see how everything comes out especially with the 'girls and beard and white teeth stuff'.

Our good friend Ben will have lots of photos to show after the trip cos he'll be our photographer cum guide for the trip.

Girls in China likes bald headed man or not ho?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hai John, yeah, the girls do like guys with beard, well, not very much though. They just curious so they like to have a 'feel' of my beard by merely touching it. Bearded guys are few in China, only seen one man with beard after passing through a few cities.
